Integrated Audit - Quality, Environment, Safety
The audit of a Quality – Environment – Safety Integrated Management System (a management system based on the integration of the three standards: UNI EN ISO 9001, UNI EN ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001) can be defined as a systematic, documented, periodic and objective analysis of the management system of an organization’s activities and of the procedures related to the observance of the quality, environmental and safety requirements.
As far as the methods of planning, carrying out and registration are concerned, the audit is a common element of the three standards, whose integration enables the organization to save important resources.
Currently, the Quality – Environment – Safety integrated audit is based on: UNI EN ISO 19011.
The audit of an Integrated Management System can be considered as a company management tool which, through investigation, analysis and comparison with the predetermined criteria, allows the organization to identify the critical aspects for its success (from the viewpoint of quality, environment or safety).
